Basic Mechanic skills by Benno Willeit

The kids of Songo.info and Cycling 4 Kayamandi were treated to some time with the head mechanic from Specialized Factory Racing team, Benno Willeit.

When it comes to mountain bikes this man is known as one of the worlds best mechanics and today was no different as he went through some of the basic skills needed for checking through the BMX’s and mountain bikes owned by the club.

Benno’s skills go beyond being able to repair and sort bikes and this was evident in the way that he kept the clinic interactive and the kids attentive! This was not just a show and tell and as soon as he had completed a task one of the smiling kids would be called out from the crowd to replicate what he had just done.
